Association

Acimall – Italian woodworking machinery and tools manufacturers’ association – was established in Milan in 1966. Today, it represents over 140 companies, meaning almost the entire sector in terms of turnover and exports.
Acimall has earned the respect of Italian and international institutions with which woodworking machinery manufacturers deal.
It is a member of Federmacchine, the Italian federation representing 13 Italian associations in the same number of instrument mechanics sectors. It is also a member of Eumabois, the European federation that represents and acts as a secretariat for 13 woodworking machinery manufacturers.
Moreover, it is member of Confindustria (the Italian Manufacturers Association), CFI (Industrial Tradeshow Committee) and UNI (Italian National Standards Association).
Acimall, in collaboration with ITA (Italia Trade Agency) and MISE (the Italian Ministry of Economic Development), is committed to promoting Italy’s production across the world. Through Cepra Srl, a subsidiary company, Acimall organises Xylexpo, the biennial world exhibition for woodworking technology and components for the furniture industry. This event was held for the first time in 1968 in Milan. Today, it’s a must-attend exhibition for all industry players.
This Association also publishes Xylon and Xylon International, two bi-monthly magazines dedicated to the supply chain distributed to thousands of players in Italy and across the world.
