WOODWORKING MACHINERY EXPORT, JANUARY-NOVEMBER 2020, -17.9%

The monthly survey of export data of Italian woodworking technologies reported, in the period January-November 2020, a further slight recovery compared to the previous survey (January-October), although remaining in negative territory. According to data issued by Istat, the decrease of exports was 17.9 percentage points on the same period in 2019; the United States remains in the lead as the first buyer country of Italian machines with 130 million euros, followed by France, 93 million and Germany, 86. The export flows of machinery to China continue to grow, which in the period January-November, has registered an increase in exports of 13 percentage points for a value of 64 million euros.
The total amount of Italian woodworking machinery exported it's over 1100 million euro.
