Acimall's studies office has processed the export data for the Italian woodworking machinery, period January-February 2021. The percentage change on the same period in 2020 is still negative, -3.8%, but in phase of recovery if we consider that in the first month of the current year the percentage drop was 15.6 points on January 2020.
A gradual and progressive recovery of export flows is therefore expected in the coming months, starting with our main client countries, thus giving way to a new positive phase for Italian technologies. The total value of exported machines was 188 million euros.
During the period Germany bought machines for 16 million euros (+ 5.5%); Austria and the United Kingdom also grew, both with 11 million euros.
