Exports of Italian woodworking technologies are still growing in the first nine months of 2021.
According to data issued by ISTAT, Italian exports of woodworking machinery and plants increased by 31.5% compared to the same period in 2020, thanks, above all, to those countries that traditionally purchase "Made in Italy" products.
The consolidated figure, therefore, against the positive percentage change, is 1,139 million euros; the United States leads the ranking of the best customer countries with 113 million and an increase of 14%, followed by France (87 million) and Poland (81 million). Germany did not live up to its usual performance, which in the first 9 months of 2021 grew by only 2.2%, for an absolute value of 73 million euros.
China, after the strong increase recorded in the first half of the year, marks time and marks a slight increase of 1 percentage point for a value of 49 million euros. Russia is once again among the top 10 customers of Italian products with 39 million euros and a percentage increase of 77 points.
