2021 WOODWORKING MACHINERY EXPORT: EXCELLENT TREND CONFIRMED

The Acimall Studies Office has processed the final data of 2021, regarding the Italian export of woodworking technologies. The data (from the ISTAT source) confirm the excellent trend of export during the entire year, both in absolute and percent terms. All the main countries, our longstanding clients, strongly relied on the “Made in Italy”, except China and South Korea, which closed 2021 at lower levels.

The United States, France and Poland stood out as the main purchasing countries and, in general, the European Union and extra-EU Europe remain the regions where Italian excellence is mostly appreciated. South America is also worth mentioning, thanks to the brilliant performance of Argentina and Brazil. The Middle East and Oceania showed also significant growth.
