The export flows of woodworking technology remain positive; in the first half of 2023, the trend is stable, with a +9.4% increase on the same period of 2022, with a real value of 854 million euro. Though still leading the top-10 ranking of customers, the United States decreased by 7.3% compared to 2022, followed by France, up by 6.3%, and Germania at +11.9%. Export to China is also back to growth after the negative result of the first quarter of this year.
Machinery import recorded a 3.3% increase up to 125 million euro. Germany remains at number one in the ranking of suppliers for the woodworking industry in Italy, with 59 million euro (+56%).
